David Francis Hall Auditorium
- Our renovations of the lecture hall auditorium are nearly complete. We wanted to freshen the look and honor the history of the Institute while at the same time update the audio/visual equipment to High Definition standards.
Lake Miranon Paddle Boat
- Hearing about our rebuilding of the spillway at Lake Miranon and our desire to get a new paddle boat, a generous couple from Pennsylvania donated a paddle boat for all program participants to enjoy when visiting the Institute. Here’s the way it looked on the lake this morning just before we took it for a cruise. Thank you for your heartfelt gift. You have enabled us to give even more to all of our guests.
- On July 3, The Monroe Institute was incorporated as a nonprofit organization in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Prior to this, the Institute was a Florida corporation called The Centre, Inc. doing business in Virginia as The Monroe Institute. This official move to Virginia was an important change because it will allow TMI to be certified as a Virginia nonprofit educational organization. Such certification will allow us to offer educational credits for our courses in the form of CEUs. There are several other financial advantages as well.
