Hi, for those who are interested in starting a group, the site http://www.meetup.com is very very cool. It already knows of people in your area with similar interests. When I went to create the Phoenix, AZ group, it sent a notice to a ton of people who had expressed an interest in the topic Astral Projection.
It also showed over 7000 people worldwide who are interested in Astral Projection and who are waiting for someone to start a meetup group. After about 2 weeks, I’ve already got 24 people who have joined! If you want to limit the group to TMI graduates, there’s alot of ways to control the site setup.
When I created the group description, I mentioned the Monroe Institute. Several of the people who joined mentioned that they already had tapes or had been dreaming about going to TMI.
It costs between $12-20/month, to host the group. But it’s got alot of cool features, so it’s worth it.

I am so excited about the success of Paul Rademacher’s meetings and the initiation of local chapters! The Institute can help provide some contacts in each of your locations.
As you probably remember, we ask you to complete a contact form at the end of each residential program. On it you give permission to give out your name and address information to those in your area who request names of Monroe participants. The best way to get the most contacts is to ask us for a list, by telephone area codes, for your area. So write me at TMIPrograms@aol.com and include the area codes. I will email a list with each person’s name, home phone number and email address.

Hi Gwen and Irene and All the AUSSIE TMI group,
I’ve got some wonderful news. I’ve finally been able to buy the Gateway CDs
from TMI, the money came from my Dad’s estate which was used to great
effect.
Deb and I have also got Bob’s first 2 books and the support CDs for Journeys
out of Body. A set of good headphones each and now all we need is time/help
(in my case) and not to set any expectations (which is very hard for me as
my business life is all about expectations)
I’m not sure if we are allowed to make backups of the CDs? (this is most
likely a question for the people at the institute directly) I just would
like to safe guard our investment.
I love my Dad and its wonderful to think his legacy has helped us out so
much when I was not really expecting it. The world is guided if you learn to
look for the blessings. I think even with all the problems at work (I’ve now
been put on a written warning to raise my management skills or I’ll be shown
the door) this year is shaping up to be our best year ever.

I’ve been in contact with a couple of the groups from this Local Chapter blog. Feel free to contact me or the others to discuss what format you are using for the local chapter meetings or if you need some suggestions to get started, etc. We’ve had five meetings so far in Naples and we’re beginning to feel more established.
Has anyone ever thought about having a “regional” local chapter? Our Naples, FL chapter is a few hours away from the Ocala, FL chapter. With a little planning and foresight, we could plan for a full day meeting.
I’ve already met some great people via this blog, just by reaching out and making a contact. Feel free to contact me or any of the others.

Hello! A group in Seattle recently reached to us to let us know that a small group of The Monroe Institute (TMI) program graduates are forming a Seattle chapter for TMI. The group is meeting on December 11 from 7pm-9pm at 12106 SE 26th st, Bellevue Washington. The initial meeting will center around the chapter focus, purpose, scheduling, future meeting locations, connectivity through the web and more.
As a Monroe Institute program graduate you may have an interest in participating in such a group and if so we know that they would love to see you at the meeting! What an interesting meeting we had last night at the Local TMI meeting in Naples! The CD selection, Metamusic: Into the Deep was a good choice and powerful meditation. Interesting conversations afterward revealed several interests. Hopefully, this email will give some information on some of those subjects.
1. The Member’s Sale has generated around $150.00 order thus far. With a $250 order, our Local Chapter will qualify for a $50 gift certificate (allowing us to purchase more CDs for our group), thanks to one of our crew who has Membership status at TMI. Review the TMI online store at http://monroeinstitute.com/store/home.php and make your wish list. (Remember, books are already discounted and, therefore, do not qualify for the 20% discount.) Roberta and Tony demonstrated their Sleepsonic Pillow last month (http://monroeinstitute.com/store/home.php?cat=80) with which they are very pleased. What an opportunity to receive that at a 20% discount!…and remember, the local chapter is paying the shipping costs! The sale ends this month.
2. 72 Names of God, a book by Rabbi Yehuda Berg was discussed. Briefly, in the Bible book of Exodus, Chapter 14, verses 19, 20, and 21, there is a hidden code. It is embedded in the story of the parting of the Red Sea. Each verse contains 72 letters. By taking the first letter of each verse, you will have a three letter name. You continue this pattern until there are 72 three letter names of God. According to Kabbalah wisdom, these letters literally have vibrations of their own. By just scanning them, you will receive the Light and wisdom from them. I will bring copies of a chart of the 72 Names to the next Local TMI Meeting which is the first Wednesday of the months, January 7th at 6:30 at The Meeting Room located across from Barnes and Noble in Naples. 3. Author Gregg Braden will be speaking at the Unity Church in Naples on January 30th and 31st. The cost is $100 for both days, if paid before January 15th. 4. F10Plus is a meditation group developed by graduates of TMI programs. There is a weekly meditation scheduled Thursday nights at 11:00 p.m. (I think I had said it was 10:00, but the time really does not matter.) The theme of the meditation changes each week. 5. Singer Barbara McKee (“Angel music”), I thought, was scheduled to perform at Unity Church in Ft. Myers, but a visitation to that site did not find her listed on the calendar. If anyone knows more information, please pass it on.

I’m loving the new features of the TMI site and thought to stop by and say hello on the new boards! Fellow TMI grad Stephanie Rae and I are just launching Rock The Path (“RTP”) up in here in Maine. RTP is a nonprofit holistic retreat and educational center offering programming in consciousness exploration (and all that goes with it). And our core tool is – of course – Hemi-Sync!
We’ve got an Excursion weekend coming up (02/20 – 02/22) and Hildegard Starmer (Outreach Facilitator) will be there observing for the last leg of our certification as TMI Outreach Facilitators. Exciting stuff!
